About Donna Rubin
Artist, Decorative Painter, Muralist Serving NJ & NYC
Celebrating 30 years in business, 1994-2024, I am a commission-based painter, based in Red Bank, New Jersey, and my work is primarily in Monmouth County, central and northern New Jersey and the New York City metropolitan area.
My background includes a degree in scenic design where I developed my love for painting murals and replicating finishes on a large scale. I have also honed my skills formally and informally in a wide variety of decorative paint finish techniques. I can paint just about anything on just about any surface! Before starting Donna Rubin Design, I had a 12 year career in retail as a visual merchandising designer. My work as a stylist, decorator, and store fixture designer continues to interplay with my painting. I often also help clients with décor, space planning, color selection, and renovation projects, bringing all the elements of a space together cohesively.
